Whats Your Favorite Meltdown?

Some guys dig ditches or collect trash for a living. Then there are some guys that make their money participating or coaching sports. I always keep that as a frame of reference when I watch some of these players and coaches meltdown in front of the cameras. My favorite was Hal McRae dropping a cluster bomb on reporters in his office. One dude forgot his blast shield and got hit with something and suffered a cut across his face. I can see TV crews getting ready for McRae's next Press Conference.

  • Camera - Check!
  • Microphone - Check!
  • Microphone Cord - Check!
  • Extra Battery - Check!
  • Welder's Mask - CHECK!

After that assault, McRae drops the parting shot, "Put that in your ****ing pipe and smoke it!" CLASSIC stuff.

OK, now I leave it out there for you. What's your favorite sports meltdown?

Whats Your Favorite Meltdown?

The Tommy Lasorda, "What do you think of Dave Kingman" rant after a lose. Go find it on the net, it is the pinnicle of blow ups. I would paraphrase it here, but then CBS would kick me off the site.

Excellent Choice...and you don't expect that from Lasorda either, but that was indeed epic.
